I must admit, this is the first time I have taken a picture of my food. I feel like I must brag a little about the local airline, Air North. They are great! They are friendly, ready to help, and provide free food (including cheesecake, or a warm cookie) on every flight! It really does feel like we are already home when we board a return flight.
This yummy muffin was breakfast on our way down.
Staying entertained on the flight down. We tried to make sure we had lots of activities/snacks for the flights and both our kids did amazing. 2 flights and a 4 hour drive to get from Whitehorse to Grants Pass, Oregon. They were tired when we arrived but I can't complain one bit about how they were while travelling.
Exploring Jacksonville, Oregon. It was such a fun little western town that was full of history. We checked out a toy store, kitchen supply store, and ate lunch at a Mexican restaurant out on the deck. We also did lots of geocaching! I think we may have hooked Rian's Grandma on it. She seemed to love finding all the caches around her place.
After swimming and geocaching, we stopped for dinner at DQ. Since our Dairy Queen closed down years ago in Whitehorse, we can't pass up the opportunity to stop at one when we are outside. We northerners love our ice cream!
We found a great shirt that Rian loved but the store didn't have it in adult sizes!
